Simple or Complicated??

What's the very first thing we do in the morning? ... No, its not brushing the teeth... Bath?? ...no....what?? morning prayer?? O you never do that..... not even pee. Its the checking of mobile for any new message.

And who says mobile made our life simple?? My Mom calls me 4 times in the journey of three hours from Ludhiana to Chandigarh. 40% of my pocket money goes to enable this device ring. It is like some body part is missing when we run out of balance in mobile.

Actually I did one experiment "Life without mobile." I decided to switch off my mobile for 10 days. But I messed up in just 6 days. But in these 6 days, by just switching off this 3"x 2" device, I missed 3 extra classes because nothing to call me, 2 birthday parties, 10-12 of friends who came in hostel specially to meet me failed in their mission because I was somewhere else and..... whom to call?

My roommate calls an average of 4 hours daily to his girlfriend. And I calculated in 2 years of MCA he spent app. 87600 minutes in calling and I got the reason for 9000 crore turnover of Airtel. More friendships.... more no. of calls.... more business. Good strategy, I'll use sometime in my business. I still wonder how my Grandma spent two years without talking to my grandpa when he went to Bombay for trading.

This is the only device that taught us how to do everything with just one hand because the other hand is always busy in connecting the mobile with the listening mechanism of our body. Now we can eat, drive or even go to loo with just one hand. Some of my hostel mates developed their skills of tie up their laces of shoes with just one hand.

I am so hooked with text messages that even in exam I write like "Denis Richy ws a gr8 bdy."

This device disturbed me thrice while I was writing this blog post. And I have to rush now because my mobile screen is showing that we planned to hang out today and I'm one hour late. OK guys... bye. see ya.

  4. Most of the useful things in this universe have positive and negative effects..its just that we should create a balance as the nature has done for us in a beautiful manner..it reminds me one of my friends who always says, "too much of everything is useless".
